ALL ABOUT DIPPING SAUCE



Generally, there is a sown of powder sauce, some are dipped. Unlike the sauce that can be sown on the surface or mixed with dishes to enrich the taste, dipping sauce is enjoyed by dipping food into it. Dipping sauce is a type of condiment commonly used to enjoy snacks, appetizers, and similar foods that can be consumed in this way. The taste is also varied, from sweet to savory, adjusting the harmony in the main course.

History

It is said that Dipping sauce has been known since the 8th century BC. At that time the Mediterranean people used to eat bread by dipping it in olive oil. Olive oil used as a dip is then added pieces of onion and spices to enrich the taste. In the Middle East, hummus made from chickpeas and olive oil mixtures has been known since the 13th century. Whereas in Greece, tzatziki made from a mixture of yogurt, cucumber and olive oil is a favorite at the local dining table. In Asia, chilli oil used as a dim sum snack was originally introduced by Sichuan residents. While in India, there is chutney, a type of tasty chocolate sauce to accompany snacks, such as samosas and pakora.

The country that popularized the dip was the United States. The first dipping sauce in America was Californian dip or what is now known as French onion dip, which is a mixture of sour cream and premix onion soup. The sauce used for accompanying fries has become so booming that it has become a topic of conversation and the recipe is circulating in local newspapers. Another one is Ranch Dressing, one of America’s favorite dipping sauce, also started in the same year. Initially, the sauce found by Steve Henson was used for salad dressing. However, over time, more Americans use it as a snack of raw vegetables, such as broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, and snacks in the bar.

Ingredients  :

1 pound of canned beef meat

9 ounce cream cheese

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 teaspoons of garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon of paprika

1 Tablespoon Sauce

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

How to make :

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, sauce, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Stir until evenly mixed with canned beef meat.

2. Pour the mixture into a small casserole dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until heated and bubbling. Serve with tortilla chips or something else.
