   Job Requirements:

(1) PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power and Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economic Management, Finance, or related fields.
(2) The ability to conduct and lead independent and innovative research and projects, as well as the capability to learn core technologies and to tackle issues in a multi-disciplinary way.
(3) Previous working experience as an associate professor or a first-class research expert in a world-class university.
(4) At least one-year teaching or researching experience in a world-class university or research institute.

   Role and Responsibilities:

1. Create future development plans of the laboratory and be fully responsible for the construction and implementation of the lab in accordance with the needs of the national and Shanghai development strategy;

2. Improve the scientific and technological innovation strength and enhance the academic influence of the Low Carbon College;

3. Introduce and train a number of high-level talents and young teachers, and create a world-leading research and teaching team;

4. Organize and undertake major and key domestic and international scientific and technological projects, and at the same time, actively promote the transformation of laboratory research achievements;

5. Promote the integration of multi-disciplines, and strengthen the international exchange and collaboration of the lab;

6. Establish an effective mode of lab management, take responsibilities, and ensure the daily operation of the lab.
