Qian WANG is an Associate Professor in Institute of Engineering Thermophysics. She obtained Ph.D. degree from the University of Sheffield in 2012. She worked as Assistant Professor in 2012 and has been an Associate Professor from 2017. Her research mainly focuses on advanced three-dimensional diagnostics development and its applications in combustion and fluid mechanics, including three-dimensional velocity measurement, flame dynamics and instability, ignition characteristics, boundary layer transition in natural convection, PCM application in buildings, etc. She has published more than 20 journal papers and established international cooperation with several top-ranking universities, including University College of London, Sydney University and Singapore Nanyang Technological University.
